Ms. Amanda
Director
I’m a mom of 5 and taught elementary school for 15 years before becoming a stay at home mom. I hold a MA in Education and a BA in Psychology. I found the reading corner at the perfect time for my youngest and fell in love with the staff and philosophy. This is my 4th year at The Reading Corner.

Ms. Kim
Director of Enrollment
Ms. Kim has over 22 years of experience in education and has been part of The Reading Corner for 13 years. With degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership, she now serves as Director of Enrollment and loves sharing the school she believes in—where both of her children are proud alumni.

VPK teacher
Ms. Emilie joined The Reading Corner in 2025 and brings a strong background in early literacy and a lifelong love of books. A former children’s librarian with a master’s degree in Library Science, she enjoys helping children grow socially and academically through connection and stories. She loves the beach, concerts, and all things yarn and sewing.

Ms. Ashlie joined The Reading Corner after several years as a stay-at-home mom and now brings that nurturing spirit into the classroom. As a mom of three, she loves creating a warm, engaging space where toddlers feel safe, loved, and excited to learn.

Ms. Carla has over 14 years of experience teaching children from infancy through VPK and holds an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves bringing music, crafts, and creativity into her classroom and sharing her passion for teaching with her students.

Ms. Ellie is entering her second year at The Reading Corner and brings over 10 years of experience working with young children. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is passionate about creating a loving, joyful classroom where children feel supported and confident.

Ms. Jackie has been teaching for 13 years and joined The Reading Corner in 2025. She finds great joy in watching her students grow and loves being part of a school community that supports both her classroom and her own family.

Ms. Tiffany is a mom of three with seven years of teaching experience and a CDA credential. While her background is in Mass Communication, her heart has always been in early childhood education, and she’s loved calling The Reading Corner home for the past four years.

Ms. Sarah brings 13 years of elementary teaching experience to The Reading Corner. As both a teacher and a TRC parent, she feels grateful to work in a school that supports her children while fostering a love of learning.

I am a local mom of 3 young boys, and when I’m not here with your children you can find me gardening, volunteering at my older kids’ school, or obsessing over Disney and Harry Potter. I have my BS in Health Science from FGCU and have spent many years working with children and those with special needs. I used to be a midwife assistant at a local birth center too!

Ms. Shannon joined The Reading Corner in 2025 after previously being a stay-at-home mom. With a unique background in forensic science, she enjoys supporting children’s growth and brings creativity, curiosity, and care into the classroom.

Ms. Heather has been teaching at The Reading Corner for one year and holds a degree in Education. After spending many years as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to the classroom to create joyful, engaging learning experiences for young children.

Office Manager
Ms. Courtney began her journey at TRC as a substitute teacher and now serves as the Office Manager. With a background in hospitality and event management, she loves bringing organization, creativity, and a little extra fun to school events and daily life at TRC.

Ms. Jennifer brings experience as a preschool teacher and special education para to her first year at The Reading Corner. After years as a stay-at-home mom, she is excited to support children’s growth in a school that truly feels like home.

Ms. Alison has been part of The Reading Corner for 12 years and brings over 25 years of teaching experience. Known for her high energy and love of learning through fun, she creates a classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. You might hear her New England accent—and when she’s not teaching, she loves rowing, yoga, and beach days.

Ms. Megan teaches in the 2s classroom and has been part of The Reading Corner community since 2022. With degrees in Communication and Family Advocacy, she is passionate about supporting young children’s social and emotional development.

Ms. Anastasia has been with The Reading Corner for nine years and brings a calm, thoughtful approach to her classroom. With dual degrees and two TRC alumni of her own, she loves creating a positive, safe, and joyful learning environment for every child.

I first joined The Reading Corner in 2022 as a substitute teacher, and I’m beyond excited to be back as a full time teacher! Teaching is truly my passion, and there’s nothing better than watching our students grow in confidence and discover just how capable they are. It’s such a joy to be part of a community where we encourage students to learn individuality and shine in their own unique ways.

My name is Maddie, and I’ve been working with children for over 20 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and love helping little learners feel happy, supported, and excited about learning. From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a teacher—a calling that runs in my family. Watching the meaningful and positive impact my Aunt Michelle had on her students’ lives confirmed my desire to follow in her footsteps.
